CALLED TO CONTROVERSY

I found “Called to Controversy: The Unlikely Story of Moishe Rosen and the Founding of Jews for Jesus” the biography of Moishe Rosen written by one of his daughters Ruth Rosen and published by Thomas Nelson to be an exciting and informative book.

Moishe’s life is full of lessons that one can take. He constantly struggled to merge his Jewish identity with his Christian faith. He got ridiculed for his faith in Jesus. Most of his family denied him believing that he was insane. His father made him visit a psychiatrist because he couldn’t accept the idea that a Jew could believe in Jesus. Once a protestor literally stabbed Moishe as he was leading a march. Despite the opposition, Moishe didn’t give up. He relentlessly shared the Gospel with everyone around him.

Another feature is that this book is filled with quotes by Moishe Rosen. I would recommend this book to people of all faiths as a lesson in character.
